| Greetings race-fans. It's been a long time since my last update. After leaving a comment on Anna Bad's xanga I felt inspired to say something here. Something. Not a whole to say. The Gospel is true. I think I'll put some pictures of my family in this post.

| Greetings once again from the land of peaches. It's been a while
since my last entry. For those of you who were concerned, Jake
did survive Halloween as Elmo. He actually picked up the knack of
trick-or-treating fairly quickly once he figured out people were giving
him candy. He was definitely a cute Elmo, much cuter than the
normal Elmo....mostly because he didn't talk in the whiny voice Elmo
has.
It just hit me. I can't believe what I'm writing. I think having children does this to you.
I just used the word 'cute' twice in the same sentence. What's
wrong with me? I have succumbed to the vocabulary of a dainty
little man. Grrr...
What I meant to say is that Jake looked like a kickin' hardcore Elmo dude.
Enough of the Halloween talk. It's November now and December is
here in only a few days. The weather in Jaw-juh is staying fairly
warm. Tomorrow it's going to be in the mid 60's, but at night it
still cools down quite a bit at night. Timeout. (whistle blows)
I am doing it again. I am writing stupid things again. This
time I sound like a loser who watches The Weather Channel all
day. Trust me, usually I don't know the forecast for the
following day. I know it must seem lame to see the next day's
forecast in a xanga entry. Sorry about that.
In other news...I have a big test to take this week. Lots of
studying to do and coffee to drink. In fact I need to take a look
at that stuff now. Over and out.

| Hello, it is Monday and today is my day off. whew, what a
weekend! yesterday was a long day with leading worship at both
services, teaching sunday school, getting ready and then setting up for
the concert and then working the concert. Indelible Grace was
awesome. They had great things to say and the music was rich and
beautiful. Their rockish acoustic sound coupled with their old
hymn lyrics made for a great night of praise and worship to Jesus. We
also had an impressive turnout with over 300 people there! We
raised over $1000 as well for our church's outreach to the impoverished
Hispanic community.
Today, the family and I went out to an actual pumpkin farm to pick our
pumpkin to carve for tonight. I had never been to a pumpkin
"patch" before. it was cool besides the fact there was a man
riding a horse with pumpkin for a head screaming and killing people.
on a similar note, we went walmart aftwerwards and i got some bird seed for my new bird feeder.
well....off to take a nap now. jake is dressing up as elmo
tonight. i have a feeling its going to be a struggle to get him
in the costume since every time we have showed it to him he quickly
says, "elmo is scary". i am not quite sure how elmo can be
scary. stef and i keep trying to convince him that, "no elmo
isn't scary, elmo is funny."
so far he hasn't bought it.
we'll see how it goes.
here's a favorite movie quote, you name the movie...
"Better get busy living, or get busy dying"

| Greetings everyone.
It has been quite a while again since my last entry. In case you
had any doubts, I am currently still alive. Stef, Jake and I had
an incredible time in good ol' Missouri last week. Jarrett and
Hillary's wedding was awesome. We had so many good conversations
with people. We even had an enjoyable drive back to Georgia in
our new (used) minivan that we bought from my parents. The
hydraulics and twin 18" speakers are getting installed next week ;)
On a serious note...its back to work this week. Still though, I
love my job and the people I work with. Talk to you all sooner
rather than later.

| Hey there pilgrims.
School has officially started for most of Oconee county today (the
county where we now reside). Wow this sure is early. As you
all know it was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away when I made
my last post. Busy summer....
Anyway, I just got back yesterday from a kickin' retreat in Tennessee
where our high school group went for a "weird weekend". We did
some white water rafting and eating learnin' and tattooin'. I got
a sun on my ankle, though it looks like something brown when splat on
me. But rest assured...it is a sun tattoo.
Tonight (Monday night) I hung out with the cooles scientist in
the entire world. His name is Steve and showed me his work
lab. There are jars full of animal brains in his lab. Very
interesting. We ate pizza downtown and then saw the Fantastic
Four at Beechwood. It was terrible and pathetic. The plot
and monologue could have been written better by my 108 year old
great-grandma. Funny, you don't see many screen writers by the
name of Bertha, do you? Still, it was nice to get out and see a
movie.
Tomorrow I am going to pick up Stefanie at the airport. She and
Jake are coming home after an extended stay in Kansas City seeing her
family. I am greatly looking forward to seeing her, though
I must admit I am fearful what new catastrophe could occur this time at
the airport parking lot. (Last week when I got home from KC, my
car wouldn't start and I had a flat tire.) We'll see...
Not much else to report....I did though catch up with Jarrett
today. What a cool cat. It was great to hear how things are
back at MPC. I think Jarrett is one of the coolest dudes. I
think its funny to think that it was three years ago that I convinced
him to dress up as a girl to shoot the promo video for Fall Retreat
2003. Anyone remember that? Ohh, the horror!
Well...it's 1 am now and I am completely exhausted. (I got up early for a dentist appt.). Take care and Eatstrong.
